If you are not aware of Batkid, watch below…
I am not sure about you, but I was so inspired to see so many people make it out to support Batkid for his Make a Wish day. He rescued a woman and caught the Riddler all on one day. Thousands of people lined the streets to see this all happen.
I am so happy to see so many people coming to see one kid on one day and totally make his day. Who is next? If you are like me, I want to come out to these events and cheer on children who have gone through so much.
Let me say, I love non-profits like Make a Wish, they are organizations who really work towards producing an experience that the child will never forget. They fit into my category of great companies like Pixar, Disney, and Legos, obviously with a real passion for children with health challenges.
I wonder. I wonder if anyone out there was so inspired by Batkid, that they might want to make a difference in their local community. I wonder if that same person might give up something they normally have for once a day for six weeks to make the difference in a child’s life in their neighborhood or city. Is there anybody out there? I am going to be launching an organization in January 2014, that will make this happen for more kids.
